If your using misting or dip systems you will need a drainage layer. This will keep the soil healthy and fresh also will develop strong roots for the plants. We recommend a minimum of a 5cm layer or gavel or clay balls then the drainage mesh followed by your bioactive soil.

We recommend fold it up to double up the thickness but you can use it with just one layer
